NVQ level 2 - Unit BT 8 - Provide Pedicure Treatment

To complete an NVQ in Unit BT 8 at level 2 you will be required to demonstrate knowledge and practical competence in the following;

• Pedicure technique
• Massage technique
• Enamelling
• Remedial treatments
• Hygine
• Code of ethics
• Health and safety
• Anatomy and physiology
• Portfolio details
  

This course is very demanding and will require extra reading, work and case studies on real clients to be completed at home through out the course of the term.

Assessment

There will be 4 Practical assessments and a written exam at the end of the course.

• Parafin
• Foot masks
• Thermal boots
• Exfoliators

You Will Need

Uniform of white tunic with white or black trousers, low healed fully enclosed white or black shoes and pedicure kit.
