NVQ level 3 - BT23 - Maintain, repair and enhance artificial nail structures

To complete an NVQ in Unit BT 23 at level 3 you will be required to demonstrate knowledge and practical competence in the following;

• Fibreglass, acrylic and gel maintenance and repair techniques
• Natural nail wraps maintenance and repair techniques
• Toe enhancements maintenance and repair techniques
• Hygiene procedures
• Code of ethics
• Health and Safety
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Portfolio details
  
  

This course is very demanding and will require extra reading, work and case studies on real clients to be completed at home through out the course of the term.

Assessment

The candidate will be observed on at least 5 occasions and a written exam at the end of the course.

• Maintain two colour fibreglass
• Maintain two colour acrylic
• Maintain two colour gel
• Maintain two colour silk
• Repair and removal

You Will Need

Uniform of white tunic with white or black trousers, low healed fully enclosed white or black shoes and nail kit.
